Libris 2 does not require a home phone. Libris 2 is powered by 4G/LTE support and is completely mobile and with you at all times, even if you are not home. It can also provide location services, family and caregiver social features, online device settings, and customized notifications.
The unit has a 48-Hour rechargeable battery. Our Monitoring Response Center is prepared to call and remind both the homeowner and secondary contact that the unit needs to be recharged.
Libris 2 has the ability to be programmed for fall detection. It detects falls via multiple sensors. This means the device automatically calls the Amherst Alarm Monitoring Response Center if it senses you have fallen, providing more protection for the customer if they are unable to press the button themselves.
